WhatsApp may soon roll out animated avatar feature for its users – Times of India

Meta rolled out Avtar calling feature for video calls on Instagram and Messenger. Now it appears that the company is working on an animated avatar feature for WhatsApp.
As reported by WABetaInfo, Meta-owned WhatsApp is developing an animated avatar feature. Recently, WhatsApp announced the release of two new enhancements regarding avatars on both iOS and Android versions. The first improvement involves the ability to configure your avatar by taking a photo, making the avatar creation process automatic. The second improvement is a newly expanded collection of avatars that are automatically rolled out to all users who set up their avatar configuration directly from the app settings.
Now the latest WhatsApp beta update for Android revealed that the messaging app is working on the animated version of the avatar pack. WABetaInfo also shared a video of the upcoming animated avatar feature.
According to the video, WhatsApp has recently introduced an upgraded version of the avatar pack, featuring animated avatars. This addition aims to infuse stickers with liveliness and personality, enabling users to engage in a more expressive and dynamic communication experience.
WhatsApp Windows users can now adjust the text size
WhatsApp has recently rolled out a new feature for Windows users, enabling them to customize the text size according to their preferences. This update aims to enhance the overall user experience by allowing individuals to personalise the text displayed on their desktop screens. To access this feature, users can simply go to the WhatsApp app settings and locate it in the ‘Personalisation’ menu. With this convenient text resizing feature, Windows users now have an effortless way to adjust the text size within the WhatsApp application. Additionally, WhatsApp has introduced helpful shortcuts for quick adjustments. Users can utilize CTRL +/- to increase or decrease the text size and CTRL+0 to reset it back to the default size.
