Windows: WhatsApp is testing multi language support on Windows – Times of India

Meta-owned instant messaging platform is getting multi-language support on Windows. The company has started rolling out a new update for its recently launched native WhatsApp app for Windows via the official beta channel. The beta update is available to download via Microsoft Store and it carries version number 2.2320.1.0.

WaBetaInfo has reported that the WhatsApp for Windows beta with the latest version gets multi-language support. The feature will allow users to use the WhatsApp app on Windows in their native language or the language of their choice.
As per the report, the multi-language feature is available in the latest beta version and is currently available to select beta testers at the moment. We expect WhatsApp will expand the feature to more beta users in coming weeks.
WhatsApp for Windows multi-language support: How it works
As per the screenshots, the multi-language support will allow users to change the app language right from the app’s settings. As a part of this, the app has got a new Language option within the settings that lets users choose the app language.
WhatsApp edit message feature
WhatsApp has recently rolled out the edit message feature to all users. The feature is available on both Android and iOS devices. It allows users to make corrections, changes or add more context to an already sent message. This means, users can now correct their typos or simply change the entire text from a sent message. But, the edit message window remains open after 15 minutes of sending the message.
Apart from that, WhatsApp has also rolled out the Lock chat feature to its platform. The feature lets users lock individual chats and keeps it securely under a new Locked chats options placed at the top of the chat list. The feature comes in handy in case you want to lock a particular chat and not the entire app.
