During her chat at the festival, the Monster director revealed that she recently wrote the final scene for the threequel. Furthermore, she stated that she is intrigued by the idea of continuing the DC franchise with more films.
Jenkins further mentioned that there is interest from Warner Bros. for a fourth movie in the series. However, Jenkins isn’t looking to go all-in just yet, as she also has plans to do other projects as well.
Earlier on, the 51-year-old director had mentioned that she had thought of a three-film arc for Gadot’s iteration of the character, even though she had initially planned on making a single film based around the character.
At the moment, not much is known about Jenkin’s intentions with Wonder Woman. However, with an abundance of villains and plotlines to choose from the various comic book storylines of the character, it will be interesting to see how Gadot carries on as one of DCEU’s finest superheroes.
