WWDC 2023: Apple unveils new Mac Pro powered by M2 ultra chipset

Apple WWDC took its attendees by surprise as the company unveiled an impressive new addition to its product lineup: a powerful Mac Pro workstation powered by Apple Silicon. This announcement marked the final step in Apple’s transition away from Intel processors. 

The newly introduced workstation is described as an absolute powerhouse, demonstrating Apple’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to its users.

In terms of specifications, the Mac Pro showcases an impressive array of connectivity options, including eight Thunderbolt ports and six PCI slots, allowing for flexible and modular expansion. The starting price for the base model of the Mac Pro is set at $6999.

Moreover, the Mac Pro equipped with the advanced M2 Ultra processor boasts a powerful 24-core CPU, a remarkable GPU with up to 76 cores, and a substantial 192 GB RAM capacity. In addition to these specifications, it offers convenient dual HDMI ports, dual 10-gigabit Ethernet connectivity, and a robust 32-core Neural Engine specifically designed for machine learning tasks.

Additionally, the Mac Pro is equipped with the most up-to-date wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring seamless connectivity.
