X-Men Star Wants Her Character To Appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Over the past few weeks, a lot of rumors have swirled around the possible cameos from live-action Marvel character in the MCU’s upcoming blockbuster, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The list of names has included Ioan Gruffudd’s Reed Richards, Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and many more. However, it seems like the movie might also bring back some of the most popular X-Men characters who have appeared in live-action movies.

Ever since Disney acquired 21st Century Fox, everyone has turned their attention towards Marvel and Kevin Feige, as they now have the opportunity to introduce X-Men into their universe.

Over the years, Fox has created some brilliant movies involving Marvel’s biggest names including, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Sir Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier and more.

With Sam Raimi at the helm of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Kevin Feige and the MCU now have its best chance to incorporate X-Men into the shared universe, and one actress has even talked about the possibility of her character making a return.

Recently, Kelly Hu was interviewed by ComicBookMovie, where she was asked about her role as Lady Deathstrike in X2. The sequel to the original X-Men is generally regarded as one of the better movies in the franchise, and Lady Deathstrike played a vital role as one of the villains.

In Marvel comics, she was a supervillain created by the Lord Dark Wind after she was injected with Adamantium. However, X2 tweaked her backstory by making her another mutant with healing abilities.

Lady Deathstrike met her end in the movie during her showdown with Wolverine when the latter injected Adamantium into her. While she died at the hands of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Hu recently stated she would love to make a return in a movie like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

“Yeah, it would be awesome to bring Lady Deathstrike back and actually have some dialogue this time. It would be a lot more fun with dialogue.”

It’s a still long shot for some of the most popular X-Men characters to appear in the Doctor Strange sequel because of different dilemmas. However, it seems like Feige has huge aspirations with the sequel and it sure seems like the movie will have some cameos that will blow everyone’s socks off.
