Xbox Elite Series 2 Gets More Customisation Options With the Help of Xbox Design Lab

If you are looking to order a new set of controllers for your Xbox, you will now have more colours available for personalisation. Xbox Design Lab has announced the introduction of a new set of colours to further customise the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. For context, Xbox Design Lab is a program that allows to practically design your own controllers for your next purchase. Xbox Wire has now announced to have added a new range of colours to its customisation palette. Here’s all you need to know about this latest update.

Latest update for the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers

The Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers were added to the Xbox Design Lab last year in October. Via the Design Lab, if you want to get creative, you can customise your controllers, down to the slightest detail. The latest update to the Xbox Design Lab now adds 16 new main colours for the top and back case, 12 colours for the ABXY buttons, 17 new colours for the paddles and D-pad, and 25 new accent colours. You now have more options to choose from for every single component of your controller like Garnet Red, Glacier Blue, and Deep Pink.

New Accessories packs now available

Additionally, Xbox is also adding bundles for customising the accessories that come with the controller. These include the Thumbsticks + D-pad Pack, the Paddles Pack, and the Carrying Case + Charging Pack.

The Thumbsticks + D-pad Pack includes interchangeable thumbsticks that come in different shapes and sizes, like the Tall thumbsticks and Dome thumbsticks. It also contains an extra D-pad that’s faceted. The entire package is priced at US$29.99 ERP (estimated retail price).

The Carrying Case and Charging Pack includes one Carrying Case, a Charging dock and a USB-C Cable. It is available at US$39.99 ERP. The Paddles Pack includes a set of 4 paddles, 2 Mediums and 2 Minis. The Paddles Pack is available at US$26.99 ERP.

You can also buy the three bundles of customised accessories together as the Everything Pack for a price of US$69.99 ERP.

Xbox has also collaborated with game studios to come up with designs for the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, inspired from the colour palette of the game, or just based on a certain character. You can always refer to these designs in case you need some inspiration or come up with your own. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 will cost you a minimum of US$149.99 ERP if you avail from the Xbox Design Lab. The price increases as you add customisations like engraved text, and accessories. You can check out more details right here.
