Xbox Game Pass Gets Another Day-One Release In April

Toge Productions has announced that Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly will release for Xbox Game Pass on day one.

The sim will launch on April 20 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, with the option to pre-install now for Xbox and PC. With Game Pass, Coffee Talk Episode 2 will also be available to stream with Xbox Cloud Gaming and will feature cloud saves and cross-progression.

Coffee Talk Episode 2 is a sequel to the 2020 title Coffee Talk, a cozy barista simulation game where the player creates and serves a variety of drinks for their mythological patrons in a present-day, fantastical Seattle. As the story unfolds, the player will listen and converse with returning and new characters, make friends, and improve customers’ moods by serving them just the right beverage, which can be customized with latte art designed with the in-game fluid simulation.

“Xbox Game Pass helped introduce new fans to the first Coffee Talk, and we’re excited that Episode 2 will be on the service from day one,” said Shintaro Kanaoya, founder and CEO of publisher Chorus Worldwide, in a press release. “With Coffee Talk still on Game Pass, now is the perfect time for Game Pass subscribers to play the original game in time for the release of Episode 2 on April 20.”

Preorders with a 10% launch discount are now live on the Nintendo eShop on Switch, for PlayStation Plus members on PS4 and PS5, as well as the Xbox Store.
