Xbox Game Pass Losing 5 More Games Very Soon
As it does twice per month, Microsoft is removing more titles from the Xbox Game Pass catalog very soon. A total of five games are leaving the catalog on July 31, including Marvel’s Avengers.
The other five games heading out soon are Dreamscaper, Expeditions: Rome, Two Point Campus, and The Ascent. For what it’s worth, The Ascent was released in July 2021 as a day-one launch on Game Pass.
As usual, Game Pass members save 20% on all games when buying them outright, so that’s a silver lining for anyone who wants to keep playing any of these titles when they leave the catalog.
Microsoft removed three games from the Game Pass library on July 15, bringing the total number of removals for July to eight.
In terms of titles joining Game Pass soon or immediately, the factory automation game Techtonica is out today at launch through Game Preview. Also out now is the adventure game Toem and Double Fine’s The Cave.
In other Game Pass news, membership rates increased on July 6. More recently, Microsoft just announced a new tier, Xbox Game Pass Core, which replaces Xbox Live Gold when it launches in September.
