Xbox Introduces Video Games-Themed Soundscapes With Calm to Help Keep You Relaxed While Gaming

Playing video games can be stressful sometimes. Scratch that. Playing games can be stressful a lot of times, even though it’s one of the best ways to alleviate mental distress caused by the outside world.

For years, gaming has been one of the most popular ways of escapism, as it allows you to immerse yourself in a world devoid of any problems and troubles of the real world. However, sometimes the experience can be stressful, especially if you’re under immense strain.

To help you fight these distresses, Microsoft Xbox has partnered with Calm, a leading mental health brand for people looking to having a much more tranquil lifestyle. Most people might know about its popular app, which is currently available in more than 190 countries. And gaming enthusiasts can now enjoy this experience with a tinge of video games in its soundscapes.

As part of the collaboration, Calm has released two new video game-themed soundscapes. While the Zeta Halo stems from Xbox’s hit shooter title Halo Infinite, players can also try out the Shores of Plenty, which hails from Sea of Thieves.

Both the soundscapes offer different vibes. While Shores of Plenty touches upon the serene and peaceful waves of the ocean on the shoreline, Zeta Halo invites you to experience some of the franchise’s ambient alien sounds.

Xbox users can currently try out these soundscapes through Calm Premium. Game Pass Ultimate users won’t need to pay extra for this service, as they will be receiving three months of Calm Premium for free, which makes it one of Xbox Game Pass’ most unique additions.

Following the three months, these users can also get 50% off their first-year subscription. Moreover, if you want to test the waters of Calm, the app currently offers free 7-day trial to Calm Premium as well.
