xbox: Microsoft announces 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Controller, Stereo headset and more – Times of India

On the 20th anniversary of the Xbox gaming console, Microsoft ha announced a ne announced a new Special Edition Xbox Controller, a Special Edition Stereo Headset and more accessories. The new controller and the headset would launch on November 15 but can be preordered now.
The 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller is priced at $69.99 and the
20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Stereo Headset also comes at the same price as that of the controller. Both will be made available at Xbox markets worldwide and can be purchased at various retailers, including Microsoft Store.
The 20th Anniversary Special Edition controller comes with “improved ergonomics, better cross-device connectivity, a dedicated Share button and reduced latency.”, claims Microsoft.
Connecting the controller to the Xbox Series X|S console will unlock an exclusive 20th Anniversary dynamic background. But if you want to use another background and choose one, this one will disappear, and you will need to re-connect the 20th Anniversary controller to unlock it again, as per Microsoft.
The 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Stereo Headset supports spatial sound technologies like Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X (may require additional purchases or app downloads, as per Microsoft).
Microsoft also unveiled the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox – 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, in collaboration with Razer and an Xbox-themed tee and a cap.
