Xiaomi 12 Pro India launch confirmed, launching on April 27th

As seen in the Tweet embedded above, Xiaomi will take the wraps off its Xiaomi 12 Pro in India on April 27th. The brand is calling the device “The Showstopper”, which is so far Xiaomi’s most premium offering this year.

Xiaomi 12 Pro specifications

Starting with the display, the Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1,500 nits brightness, support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory.

On the software side of things, the Xiaomi 12 Pro boots the latest Android 12-based MIUI 13 skin out of the box. For photography, the device has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 50MP portrait camera. At the front, the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with a 32MP selfie snapper.

In the battery department, the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 4,600mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The device features USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio, dual speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
