To recall, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, teased that the upcoming Xiaomi flagship (Xiaomi 12 Ultra) will offer a major leap in performance and energy consumption and get its fuel from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Let’s look at what we can expect from the forthcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

According to a report from TechGoing, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will launch in China on July 5th, which is also the Asus ROG Phone 6’s launch date. The report further says that Xioami will begin teasing the Xioami 12 Ultra’s launch starting June 28th. The publication suggests taking its leak frivolously as the news comes from a dubious tipster. Since June 28th is a few days away, we’ll soon learn about the leak’s legitimacy.

A 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging will keep the lights on. Xiaomi 12 Ultra could pack up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will run the show. It is said to house a Lecia-powered 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 20MP selfie shooter on the front.
