Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro price, specifications, renders leaked ahead of launch

The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro come with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a triple camera layout on the back panel and multiple colour options. The phones are expected to roll out in various markets, probably including India as well but can’t be said for certain.

The Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro have the same design. They come with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and narrow bezels. The phones have flat edges on the front. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The USB Type-C port for charging, speaker grille, and SIM tray section are at the bottom. The top section houses the speaker grille, secondary noise cancellation, and IR blaster.

Moving to the back, one can find the rectangular module to house the triple camera sensors and an LED flash. The back panel is slightly curved to the edge, which should offer a better grip when holding in hands. It looks like Xiaomi has ditched the metal frame and made the casing out of plastic. The Xiaomi 12T’s camera casing has 108MP text engraved, while the Xiaomi 12T Pro mentions ‘200MP’.

The Xiaomi 12T renders can be seen in Black colour, while the 12T Pro comes in Blue colour but we believe there will be other options at launch.

As for the price, the Xiaomi 12T is said to have a starting price of €649 (around Rs 51,800), while the Xiaomi 12T Pro is expected to cost around €849 (around Rs 67,800).

According to WinFuture’s report, the Xiaomi 12T is said to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2712 x 1220 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. The phone is said to be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Moving to optics, the Xiaomi 12T will have a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The handset is said to pack a 20MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It could boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will also have the same 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The flagship is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ chipset paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The handset is tipped to pack a 200MP primary sensor on the back.
