Xiaomi announces Mi 11 Ultra limited quantity sale in India: Here’s how to get one – Times of India

NEW DELHI: You now have a chance to purchase the most expensive smartphone from Xaiomi. After months of wait, the company is all set to begin the sale of its flagship smartphone — Mi 11 Ultra in India. The smartphone maker launched its premium smartphone in April this year in the country along with the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. However, despite the launch, the smartphone didn’t go on sale due to the lockdown situation in the country.
Now, Xaiomi has announced that it will soon start the sale of Mi 11 Ultra in India. The company took to Twitter to announce the sale of its most-expensive smartphone. The company confirmed that the registrations for its ‘Superphone’ are now open. The company also revealed that the smartphone will be available only in limited quantities, so you will have to hurry up to purchase one.
Xiaomi has not yet revealed the date of the sale, but it is expected to begin sometime next week. The company has also laid down two methods through which users will be able to own the Mi 11 Ultra.
Two methods to purchase the Mi 11 Ultra
The customers can purchase the Mi 11 Ultra in two ways — either by spending money or by participating in a challenge.
First option
In order to purchase the smartphone by spending money, the customers will have to purchase a gift card from Xiaomi at Rs 1,999. Buyers will get guaranteed access to the limited quantity sale of Mi 11 Ultra. The buyers of the card will get an F-code on the day of the sale. The F-code will appear in the Mi account of the customer and it will be valid for 24 hours.
The company also mentions that the amount of Rs 1,999 will be deducted from the final payment of the smartphone. The gift card will also offer other benefits like free screen replacement, Mi ultra merchandise and mode.
Second option
The second way to access the limited quantity sale is to participate in the challenge. The winners of the challenge will get wildcard entry in the challenge. Xiaomi will organise three ultra challenges and the winner of these challenges will get access to the sale on Mi 11 Ultra.
The company has already announced the first challenge, which requires the participant to answer a question — “What makes you a Superfan?”. Lucky winner of this challenge will get direct access to the sale.
The participants are required to post their response on social media using the hashtag specified on the company’s website. The company will reveal challenges 2 and 3 in the coming days.
To recall, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes with a price tag of Rs 69,999. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The high-end Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 6.81-inch WQHD+ main display with 1440×3200 pixel resolution. The smartphone also houses a 1.1-inch secondary display placed on the rear panel. The main display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and the display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
