Xiaomi Pad 6 India-specific variant appears on Geekbench. What to expect
Xiaomi is all set to introduce its latest Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6, in India on June 13. The company has officially announced the launch of this new tablet, which will be unveiled alongside the Redmi Buds 4 Active next week.
The Chinese technology giant has provided a sneak peek of some of the noteworthy features and specifications of the upcoming Pad 6. While the tablet is already available for purchase in China, it is anticipated to offer the same hardware configuration in the Indian market. Prior to the official release, reports suggest that the Xiaomi Pad 6 has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark website.
PriceBaba has discovered the Geekbench listing of the Indian version of the Xiaomi Pad 6, revealing some insights into the tablet’s performance capabilities. The listing, which showcases the model number 23043RP34I, indicates that the Indian variant of the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and 8GB of RAM. However, it remains uncertain whether Xiaomi intends to offer additional RAM configurations for the Indian market.
Based on the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi Pad 6 variant mentioned is expected to operate on Android 13 and is likely to come pre-installed with MIUI 14 designed specifically for tablets. The tablet’s performance, as indicated by Geekbench, reveals scores of 875 and 2615 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
These specifications strongly imply that the Indian version of the Xiaomi Pad 6 will bear resemblance to the model already available in China.
Moroever, the China-specific edition of the Xiaomi Pad 6 boasts an 11-inch LCD display with a high-resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, delivering a sharp visual experience. The screen supports an impressive 144Hz refresh rate and features Dolby Vision support, enhancing the quality of multimedia content, along with quad-speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos for immersive audio.
In terms of cameras, the back of the tablet houses a single 13-megapixel camera sensor, while an 8-megapixel front camera is located on the longer bezel for selfies and video calls. Powering the device is a sizable 8,840mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 was initially launched in China with a starting price of CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 22,000) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It weighs about 490g and has a slim profile, measuring 6.55mm in thickness.
