Xiaomi Watch S1 with 12-day battery debuts along with Xiaomi 12 series – Times of India

Xiaomi 12 series has debuted in China. Alongside, the company has also launched Xiaomi Watch S1 as its most-premium smartwatch to date. The new smartwatch features a stainless-steel design with a sapphire glass display. It is claimed to deliver a battery life of up to 12 days and offers wireless charging.
Xiaomi Watch S1: Price and availability
Xiaomi Watch S1 carries a price tag of CNY 1,049 (approximately Rs 12,300) for the rubber wristband version. The leather strap model is priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs 14,000).
The smartwatch will go on sale in China on December 31. There are no details about its global availability.
Xiaomi Watch S1: Specifications
Xiaomi Watch S1 is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 326 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartwatch has a circular dial and features two physical buttons on the side.
The device offers 117 sports modes and GNSS positioning to track outdoor activities. It offers a 5ATM water resistance feature. Xiaomi says that the device can offer 24×7 health management, but has not specified available sensors on the smartwatch.
On the battery front, Watch S1 is claimed to last up to 12 days. It also comes with support for wireless charging.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi 12 series consists of the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. The Xiaomi 12 series smartphones sports a 6.28- inches OLED display that comes with a 2400×1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with a peak brightness of 1100 nits and has Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. Both the devices are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
