Xiaomi: Xiaomi 13 UItra global launch date confirmed: What to expect – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its latest flagship smartphone, Xiaomi 13 Ultra in its domestic market in April. This phone is now set to make its debut in the global market. Xiaomi has officially announced the global launch date of Xiaomi 13 Ultra. A microsite of the phone has gone live on the company’s global website. The microsite also has a countdown timer which confirms the launch date of the smartphone. As per the timer on the official website, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra global launch will be held on June 8. For global customers, Xiaomi is also offering a 3-month YouTube Premium subscription and a 6-month 100GB Google One subscription for free along with the smartphone.
Xiaomi 13 UItra: Expected price
Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be available in a single 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version in the global market. The smartphone will be available in two colours — black and green. According to a report by GizmoChina, Xiaomi’s latest flagship is likely to be priced under 1,499 euros (nearly Rs 1,30,000).

The global variant of the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO display that may support Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Xiaomi’s latest flagship phone is likely to come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset backed by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

For photography, the smartphone is expected to house a quad rear camera setup which may include — a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary camera, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP telephoto camera with OIS and a 50MP periscope lens with OIS and 5x optical zoom.
The smartphone may pack a 5,000mAh battery that is likely to support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi 13 Ultra will run MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box.
