xQc Admits His Gambling Addiction Cost Him Around $2 Million in Losses

xQc, one of the largest content creators on Twitch has admitted to his gambling addiction recently. In one of his recent streams he outlined his problem with gambling and explained how gambling has become a part and parcel of everything he takes part in. The popular streamer is also known to stream content that consists of active gambling.

He also stated that everywhere he goes, he gambles, from gambling in online casinos, to gambling in Gambling Simulator to gambling in GTA too. He has continuously stated to his audience that he should not be considered as a role model and his fans should not follow in his footsteps.

He has also gone on to state that he considers his addiction to gambling as an illness, but that does not stop him. He understands that this path is not good for him, but he still cannot stop gambling. Although he considers gambling to be an illness, he also states that it is an illness that he can afford and therefore he continues to gamble.

In his latest collaboration with Pokimane, which was a podcast on her Twitch channel, xQc had a lot more to share about his gambling problem. In one of the questions asked by Pokimane, she asked xQc whether he enjoys gambling as much when he is not streaming compared to when he is streaming. To which xQc replied that he does, he is addicted to it and has lost $1.85 million in the month of April.

Pokimane also went on to tell xQc that gambling on stream would have a negative impact over his audience. To which xQc agreed, but also stated that he has stopped taking any sort of sponsorships from online casinos or gambling websites. This sort of issue is not uncommon amongst celebrities, it has been witnessed many times that a celebrity that has come in to loads of money, loses it all to gambling. Let’s hope that xQc has a head on his shoulders and nips the problem before it reaches an uncontrollable level.
