The ‘Pro’ iPhone prices have remained the same in the US. Since the iPhone X, the ‘Pro’ iPhone models have been priced at $999, while the ‘Pro Max’ has cost $1099, the same as the iPhone XS Max. But, a price hike is coming for the next ‘Pro’ iPhone- the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Jeff Pu, an analyst at Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities, suggests that Apple could increase the price of the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. He cites the hardware upgrades of the iPhone 15 Pro models as the reason for the price increase.
What to expect from iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
This year’s ‘Pro’ iPhone models, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, are rumoured to come with some major upgrades, especially on the hardware front. Rumours are rife that the iPhone 15 Pro models could have a titanium frame and might also ditch the buttons for tactic-engine powered solid states volume buttons. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is also expected to come with a new periscope lens.
On the inside, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are rumoured to have the A17 Bionic chip and increased RAM.
The rumour of a price hike for iPhone 15 Pro models comes for the second time. But, it remains to be seen if Apple will increase the price for ‘Pro’ iPhone models this year or not.

There was a Rs 10,000 increase for both models. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max were launched at Rs 1,19,900 and Rs 1,29,900, respectively, in 2021.
