YouTube is testing this new feature for Android devices – Times of India

Video streaming platform YouTube is reportedly testing a more subtle video progress bar on Android devices that isn’t always. Until now, users saw the red progress bar while watching any video.
According to a report by 9to5Google, many Android devices that also include Incognito mode are seeing the new white progress bar.

The white progress bar appears when dark themes are enabled on YouTube in an effort to provide a less distracting YouTube user interface (UI).
“On one of our Android devices, YouTube’s progress bar — when you’re passively watching a video with dark theme enabled — is white/grey instead of the usual red. In those circumstances, YouTube also doesn’t note how much of a video has loaded,” reports 9to5Google.
YouTube ‘Live Q&A’: Here’s how it works
Last year in November, YouTube came up with a new feature for creators. It launched a ‘Live Q&A’ feature for content creators where they can interact with viewers while live streaming.
Creators can create and manage Q&A sessions while live streaming with their audience using the Live Control Room (LCR) feature.
This, according to YouTube, will help creators in building a community while responding to several important questions asked by their viewers during the live stream session.
The Live Q&A feature can be accessed alongside Live Polls, which is another option for creators to interact with their audience.

The questions asked using the Live Q&A feature are managed by the same systems that allow the user to moderate the chat. This means the moderators have the liberty to block words, hold them for review or report the question if it contains any explicit language.
Users bearing the ‘Manager’ or ‘Editor’ channel permissions can manage the questionnaire which has, “viewing the questions list, selecting questions to answers, removing questions from the list”, and others.
