The Lucky Clover Gazette: Potential Princess Sightings

The whole endeavor starts in the Lucky Clover Gazette. Basically, if you’re following the suggested storyline progression, you’ll be heading northwest to the region of Hebra. As you approach Rito Village, you’ll see the establishment. The coordinates are -3231, 1770, 0119.

Talk to Penn and Traysi and you’ll receive the Potential Princess Sightings side adventure. This requires you to head to every stable in the game world. Fortunately, the Golden Horse just requires us to go to one: Snowfield Stable.

Snowfield Stable: Zelda’s Golden Horse

Snowfield Stable is found in the northeastern portion of Hebra. Make sure you’ve got cold resistance gear or food since the temperatures are freezing. The coordinates are -1634, 2576, 0233.

Once there, you’ll notice Penn talking to a stable handler. It seems that Zelda’s mount ran off to the north. In any case, to get the Tears of the Kingdom Zelda’s Golden Horse, make your way to coordinates: -1836, 3385, 0236. Here are some tips:

  • Don’t travel on land. There’s a Frost Gleeok in the vicinity, and you don’t want to aggro it.
  • Instead, use the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower. Glide northeast to the “left claw/tassel” of the Headdress Geoglyph.
  • The mount is fairly visible from up high, and they’re also surrounded by other horses. However, if you’re having trouble spotting them, you can track horses using the Purah Pad Sensor+ upgrade.

Catching the Golden Horse

Once you’ve found them, sneak up with their back turned so you can catch them while they’re unaware. Press A to mount them, then spam the L button to calm themdown. Alternatively, you can also shoot an arrow with an Ice Fruit attachment to freeze them. Just be ready to press the A button to mount up quickly.

After calming them down, ride them all the way back to Snowfield Stable to complete the quest. You’ll receive the Royal Bridle, Royal Saddle, Energizing Elixir, and 50 rupees. Don’t forget to register them so you can call them whenever you want.
