Some shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom require you to find and deliver the green shrine crystal in order to enter. This is the case with Jochi-Ihiga Shrine, which is located southwest of Tarrey Town in Akkala Highlands just waiting for you to come along and get things started. We’ll tell you where to get the crystal and solve this mystery.
How to solve the Jochi-Ihiga Shrine Puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Getting inside of Jochi-Ihiga Shine requires you to begin a side-quest in Tarrey Town in Akkala Highlands. You’ll find a man standing beside a green shrine crystal in Tarrey Town. If you speak with him about the crystal, you’ll start “Rock for Sale,” and he’ll attempt to sell it to you for 100 rupees.
Luckily, a woman comes along to save the day, convincing the greedy fellow to cut the price down. When she’s done talking him into selling the crystal for 50 rupees, pay up and claim the crystal for your own. Examine the crystal to start the process of delivering it.
Attach the crystal to the rail car nearby, then hop on and smack it once to take a ride to the bottom. When you reach the construction site below, hop off and head out in the direction of shrine (indicated by the beam of light from the crystal). You’ll soon find yourself impeded by water, so navigate to some building materials on the water’s edge near the cliffside because you must build a boat.
You can build that boat using the sail and some wood, but you’ll have the best luck if you’ve brought along some Zonai devices like a wing and a fan, ultimately speeding up the process with modern technology. However you opt to make it happen, make your way across the water to the shrine and place the crystal there to open the entrance.
Because the puzzle is getting the crystal to the shrine’s entrance, you’ll be able to simply enter and immediately reap the reward of a chest containing a Diamond and then claim your Light of Blessing. Very cool.
