Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Patch Fixes “The Closed Door” Quest Issue
A new patch for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has landed, delivering a fix for a progression issue in a main quest.
Version 1.1.1 is out now, and it addresses “The Closed Door” quest. Specifically, players reported being unable to complete this quest, even though they had fulfilled all of its conditions. Anyone who experienced those problems should now be able to finish the quest with the new update applied.
Outside of that, the patch addresses “several issues” in Tears of the Kingdom with the aim of improving the overall experience. The specific issues were not mentioned. You can see the complete patch notes below, as shared by Nintendo on its website.
This was Tears of the Kingdom’s first post-launch update, following a pre-release patch on May 11 that added further language support for horse-naming and delivered a series of fixes.
Tears of the Kingdom launched on May 12, scoring a 10/10 in GameSpot’s Tears of the Kingdom review and selling 10 million copies over its first three days to become the fastest-selling Zelda game of all time. In other news, Tears of the Kingdom’s director has, at long last, confirmed which version of Link smells the worst.
