Sony announces the new Bravia XR A75K 4K OLED TV with HDMI 2.1 and a 120Hz refresh support | Digit
The price for the Sony Bravia XR A75K has not been revelated, yet.
Sony unveiled the Bravia XR A95K, A90K, and A80K OLED TVs at this year’s CES, which was held a few weeks ago. Making its way to this lineup is a new model called the Bravia XR A75K. This is a 4K OLED TV with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support. However, what could make it an interesting entrant to the market is its suspected affordability. The TV is expected to be targeted at the mid-range TV market, even though Sony hasn’t disclosed the pricing specifics yet. Sony has stated that it won’t be competing with the LG A1 when it comes to its price. The 65-inch model is currently available at around ₹1,69,999. But, do note that it has 4K at 60Hz only and no HDMI 2.1 support.
Meanwhile, the Bravia XR A75K rocks 4K at 120Hz, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and of course VRR. Not only that, as its XR branding suggests, it also comes with Sony’s proprietary Cognitive Processor XR under the hood.

Now, moving to the areas where Sony has cut costs, the TV does come with a watered-down version of the company’s Acoustic Surface Audio system. This means even if the sound comes from behind the screen, it may not be as good as the output from the flagship models. Also, the Bravia A75K may not be as flashy as those upstate trims.
The TV will be running on Google TV OS with the usual set of OTT apps such as Google Assistant, and Chromecast support.
As of right now, that is all we know about the new Sony A75K TV. As soon as the price is revealed, you can rest assured that we’ll have an update. And, if you are looking for something even cheaper from the brand, it has some LCD releases too like the Sony X75K, Sony X73K, and Sony X72K.
