Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Weapon Crafting Guide: Everything You Need to Know

One of The Witch Queen expansion’s biggest content addition is the new crafting system that the developers at Bungie have hyped up for a long time.

Destiny 2 players unlock the new system during the campaign when they visit The Relic on Mars. There, they will craft their first weapon in The Enigma Glaive.

In terms of the crafting experience, every weapon forge requires materials/items for Guardians to work with. Bungie has introduced a ton of resources that vary in rarity and players will have to collect them in order to craft new weapons.

In order to earn some of these resources, players will need to find weapons with Deepsight Resonance. These weapons will have a red border, and they allow players to earn rewards after attuning them by completing activities or earning kills. Once they complete an activity, rewards such as Neutral Element, Adroit Element, Energetic Element and many more will be available to use for crafting.

Other than that, an attuned weapon will also allow players to gain its essence, which is essentially the trait that it possesses, so they can add it to their craftable weapons.

Other than the perks, players will also need patterns to craft these weapons, and they can find them upon completing quests or various other gameplay objectives.

Once a weapon is crafted with the materials, patterns and traits, Guardians can now increase its power by leveling them up. They can do this by completing activities and by killing enemies as well. Players will receive more crafting options when they level a weapon up, which allows for more customization, and they can change some of its characteristics by reshaping them.

Players can check forums such as Reddit and many more for perk combination suggestions that they can use, depending on their playstyle. With the amount of work that goes in crafting, Guardians should make sure that the crafted weapons play to their strength, Hence why, it’s imperative that they have the right items at hand.
