“After all these years”: Ludwig fans elated as streamer wins prestigious award after many years

2021 was full of ups and downs for Ludwig and his fans, but his efforts were rewarded with a Streamer of the Year award at today’s Streamer Awards. The event, organized and hosted by QTCinderella, was a voting-based awards show, with all the pomp and celebration of an actual Hollywood awards ceremony.

Ludwig gets his due at the Streamer Awards; wins Streamer of the Year

The streamer was one of the four nominees in the category, alongside xQc, Mizkif, and Sykunno. An overjoyed Ludwig took to the stage and graciously accepted his award with the following words:

“You guys cannot believe who I had to sleep with to get this award..(laughs).. everytime I stream I wish I was as compassionate as Sykunno, or as funny as xQc or like Mizkif too or whatever..(laughs)..but it feels good to get this. I had one good month and I guess that’s why I’m here and I hope I have a year as good as that month.”

He thanked the organizer of the Streamer Awards, QTCinderella, before stepping off and also addressing his eventual exit from Twitch. His exit from Twitch means this will be his last time competing in the Streamer Awards and other related award shows in any category.

“Thank you to QT, for putting this on. She did everything, she’s a god. Thank you for this award it’s my last chance to get one of these and it feels good. Thank you guys, appreciate it.”

Other nominees were also present at the venue and congratulated the streamer on his win.

Fans react to Ludwig winning Streamer of the Year

The creator’s fans, who had been rooting for him to win, shared in the streamer’s joy after his victory was announced.

Fans of the other nominees, xQc in particular, are outraged by the announcement and are out to question the validity of the entire ceremony. Ludwig fans have made a series of arguments in reply to these allegations.

Even some xQc fans admit that it is irrational to call the Streamer Awards “rigged.”

While no one from the organizers or either streamer has commented on these allegations, fans from both sides are continuing their arguments even after almost 12 hours of the winners being announced.
