Campbellsville Wins MSC Women’s Golf Spring Tournament; Geralds Earns Medalist Honors

CROSSVILLE, TENN. – Campbellsville captured the Mid-South Conference Women’s Golf Spring Tournament title on Tuesday at Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain.

The Tigers’ Connor Geralds earned medalist honors after finishing the tournament with a 12-over par 228 (78-77-73). She recorded the second-most birdies at the tournament with seven. Cumberland’s Emma Hermansson finished runner-up with a 13-over par 229 (77-75-77).

Campbellsville finished with a score of 937 (315-310-312) to win the team title. Cumberlands (Ky.) finished runner-up with a 951 while Lindsey Wilson placed third with a 956.

Cumberland finished fourth with a 992 while Thomas More (Ky.) placed fifth. Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) placed sixth while Georgetown (Ky.) finished seventh.

Bethel (Tenn.) and Tennessee Southern round out the team standings in eighth and ninth, respectively.

Pikeville’s Boo Newsome finished third with a 230 while Cumberland’s Nathalie Nutu was fourth with a 231. Campbellsville’s Abigail Coffey, Lindsey Wilson’s Malene Clausen and Cumberlands’ Emily Allen tied for fifth with a 233.

Campbellsville captures the MSC Women’s Golf Regular Season title. The regular season title is determined by the finishes in both the fall tournament and the spring tournament.
