Jeremy Renner Shares Last Note for His Family Following Snowplow Accident
Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner shared that he wrote a goodbye message to his family in case he didn’t make it, after his near fatal snowplow accident on New Year’s Day.
At the dawn of the year, Renner found himself in the midst of a deadly accident, when The Hurt Locker actor got crushed under his snowplow, which weighs nearly 1,500 lbs (6803 kgs). Renner suffered several injuries, as he remained critical yet stable for several days. The actor had further revealed that the accident gave him 30 broken bones.

Three months after the accident took place, Renner is now recovering, as he attempts to rebuild the life he had before the incident. Over the course of these months, the Cliff Barton actor has shared videos of his road to recovery, which includes the usage of an anti-gravity treadmill.
However, things were quite different during the immediate days after the accident. As part of his interview with Diane Sawyer for Good Morning America, Renner shared that he feared not making it. The fear of death even led to the actor writing a goodbye message on his phone for his family. “I’m writing down notes in my phone,” said Renner. “My last words to my family.”
While Renner continues to improve his health, fans can soon check out his new Disney+ miniseries Rennervations, which debuts on April 12.
