Skyesports League 2023: Marcos Gaming’s Pokemon Unite Team Hyderabad Nawabs Crowned Champions

Marcos Gaming are champions of Skyesports League 2023 Pokemon Unite. The team represented Hyderabad Nawabs in the franchise-based tournament. They defeated S8UL Esports’ Mumbai Aces to take home the title and prize winnings of Rs 4 lakh. It was a well-fought finale between the two sides, with the title hanging in the balance till the last round.

Skyesports League 2023 final goes down the wire

Marcos Gaming defeated S8UL Esports after a long round of group stage matches where each team faced each other once. The top four teams in the league went on to qualify for the playoffs. Hyderabad Nawabs (Marcos Gaming), Mumbai Aces (S8UL Esports), Chennai Clutchers (Revenant Esports), and Bengaluru Crushers (Gods Reign) were the semi-finalists who made it to the playoffs.

S8UL Esports’ Mumbai Aces breezed past Chennai Clutchers. Meanwhile, Hyderabad Nawabs won their match against Bengaluru Crushers to set up the final against Mumbai Aces.

It was S8UL Esports who won the first round, but Marcos Gaming equalized by winning the next. Eventually, both teams had three rounds each to their name which set the decider round for the trophy. Marcos Gaming managed to edge it in the end and were declared the champions of Skyesports League 2023 Pokemon Unite.

Skyesports League 2023 Pokemon Unite best companion title was awarded to S8UL Esports’ Mrinmoy ‘Mercy’ Lahkar. The Poke Master recognition was awarded to S8UL’s All Might.
