Andrew Garfield has been a busy man over the past two years, and after all the hard-work involving a neck-breaking schedule, it seems like the British actor is finally ready to take a break from the showbiz world.
During an interview with Marc Malkin in the Just for Variety podcast, the Spider-Man star talked about his latest project in FX’s limited run TV show, Under the Banner of Heaven.
The actor has been on a roll over the past 12 months, as he has acted in movies like Spider-Man: No Ways Home, tick, tick…BOOM!, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and all of them made quite a buzz during the awards season.
However, following all the award campaigns and press tours, Garfield has noted that he is knackered, and he further mentioned that he would be taking a break soon.
Along with that, the British star even noted that he wants to do a bit of self-discovery, as he has suffered a lot on a personal level in recent years, with the actor talking about dealing the pain of losing his mother Lynn to pancreatic cancer in 2019.
Garfield will eventually return to the silver screen, as fans won’t let him take a break for a long time. However, it will be interesting to see what the actor has in store for his millions of fans, as he is now one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
After providing some iconic performances in movies like Hacksaw Ridge and The Social Network, the actor recently reprised his role as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which has opened a door for him to play as the leading hero in a third movie as part of The Amazing Spider-Man series, and it will be interesting to see if he will return for a project like this.
