BGMI: Banned Battle Royale Mobile Game Introduces Two New Events in India

The saga of the hit mobile Battle Royale title, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) remains in a suspended state, as fans wonder what the future holds for the banned game.

Following its suspension earlier this year, fans, players, content creators and bureaucratic officials have theorized about a potential return for mobile title. However, as of right now, there’s no such indication of the game making a comeback anytime soon.

However, something interesting came across the horizon for BGMI players, when it was noticed that the game received two new events, despite being banned in India.

When will BGMI make a comeback in India?

As spotted by AFK Gaming, BGMI recently introduced the ‘Login & Win’ and ‘Golden Rush’ events without a Google Play Store/ App Store update to show for it.

The former is a 15-day event, where players earn rewards for logging on to the hit title, which is something that fans had been accustomed to prior to the game’s suspension. Some of the rewards for the event include Silver Fragments, Supply Crate Coupon Scraps, Motorcycle, and the Mischievous Night Parachute.

The Golden Rush event on the other hand will allow players to win rewards for completing matches in Classic mode. Players will earn a variety of items for completing anywhere between 1-25 games until the start of next month. The rewards for the event include Supply Crate Coupons, Supply Crate Coupons, Red Hot Set and the Pitch Master Helmet.

The availability of these events doesn’t particularly indicate any future plans of return for BGMI in India. However, recent comments from the South Korean Ambassador seem to suggest some kind of progress for developers Krafton in its efforts to reverse the ban slapped on its title by the Indian Government. In the end, the waiting game continues for BGMI fanatics.
