Brian Lara reacts after Sachin Tendulkar has lunch with Ajit Agarkar and Yuvraj Singh

After being appointed chairman of senior men’s cricket selection panel, former India pacer Ajit Agarkar was spotted having lunch with his former teammates – Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh. The families of the former cricketers were also seen in the photo. Sachin Tendulkar and Ajit Agarkar both shared the photo on Instagram. “Two things that keep us close are friendship and food. Met this bunch for an awesome lunch,” Tendulkar posted along with the photo.

West Indian great Brian Lara commented on the post, saying: “It was just a hi and a bye for me boys!! You’ll lucky!! My golfing buddies enjoy!”

A few days ago, Sachin Tendulkar had shared a photo of both of them taking a walk in a London street. “Casually bumped into another keen golfer today,” Sachin posted along with the photo.

In his first decision since taking over the role of chief selector, young left handed batters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma were included in the T20 squad for the upcoming five-match series against West Indies, which will be played in the Caribbean and Florida. Hardik Pandya continues as captain while Suryakumar Yadav has been named his deputy while wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson also returns to the squad. Senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were not named in the squad.
