Google launched the Play Games beta for Windows PCs in March this year. The service was initially launched in select regions which includes Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan. Now, the company is expanding the support to two more regions — Australia and Thailand, according to a report in 9to5Google.
Incidentally, Google has not updated official Play Games landing with these two regions yet. The page still shows only three regions under the FAQ section.
People in these regions can now join the waitlist from the official Play Games website. The website used to show ‘service not available’ message to users.
How to join the Google Play Games beta waitlist
To join the waitlist in supported regions, head to play.google.com/googleplaygames and hit the Join waitlist button. Google has also set some PC hardware requirements for Play Games beta.

For the uninitiated, Google Play Games is a PC app that allows users to browse, download and play select Android games on their Windows-powered laptops and desktops. With Play Games, users also get the option to use keyboard and mouse as the input method.
In addition to this, the games also support sync across devices and integration with Google Play Points. Google has confirmed that they have worked with developers to optimise mobile games for PCs.
