Hunt: Showdown Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary With Twitch Drops

To celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary, Hunt: Showdown Twitch drops are enabled through the beginning of March. You can pick up a variety of items, including a Legendary Hunter known as Kill Buyer.

To earn these drops, you’ll have to connect your Hunt account to your Twitch account and watch Hunt: Showdown streams for at least two hours. You can check out the Hunt: Showdown site for detailed instructions on linking your accounts. Watching two hours will drop an Anniversary Crate including a random assortment of weapons, Hunt Dollars, and equipment. You can earn up to four Hunt Anniversary Crates every day.

You can also earn specific, preset in-game goodies for watching drop-enabled streams. Until March 2, more potential rewards will unlock every day, including the legendary Hunter Kill Buyer. You can also earn an exclusive weapons charm by watching one of Hunt: Showdown’s Night of the Hunter partners.

Hunt: Showdown is a battle-royale-style shooter set in a mysterious, mythical bayou. You battle computer-controlled enemies and other players as you explore the landscape looking for loot. When you’ve pushed your luck enough, it’s time to get to safety. The game has received new maps, characters, weapons, enemies, bosses, and more over the past five years.

• Feb. 24 – March 2: Watch streams for 180 minutes to unlock Legendary Weapon Bornheim No. 3 “Alley Cat”
• Feb. 25 – March 2: Watch streams for 210 minutes to unlock the Legendary Mosin-Nagant M1891 Obrez “The Fifth Tale”
• Feb. 27 – March 2: Watch streams for 210 minutes to unlock Weapon Charm “Gator Eye”
• Feb. 28 – March 2: Unlock the Gator Eye as a prerequisite and watch streams for 240 mins to unlock Legendary Hunter “Kill Buyer”
