Instagram is reportedly bringing 5 new features: AI chatbot, editing tools and more | Digit

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere now and growing. Need proof? The social-media giant, Instagram is also planning to set up AI backed features into the app. According to the reports, the platform is testing the application with AI tools to bring the advanced technology and creativity within the app. 

A known leaker, Alessandro Paluzzi, has suggested four upcoming features in Instagram which will be AI generated. Check them out below:

Instagram is working on the Generative AI sticker creation tool. This tool will allow users to create custom graphics for their stories and posts. With the help of these tools, graphics can be made just by putting in text prompts. With this users can enhance their aesthetics pretty easily.

Another tool that is under work will improve the post-creation process. For this, two tools are being built: AI Brush and Restyle. With the help of generative AI, AI brush will allow users to easily replace some parts of the image. You can even fill in gaps with this. And with Restyle, you will be able to change some parts of the image by giving textual prompts.

And the next one on the list is an AI chatbot. This is kind of similar to the one on Snapchat. Instagram is planning to embed a conversational UI within the Direct Messages (DMs). If you type @ai on chat, the bot will be activated and you can ask him all sorts of questions.

If you’re too lazy to read out all the messages, then Instagram is developing a tool just to take care of this. An AI-powered tool will automatically summarise the messages for you. So you can easily catch up on the entire conversation.
