Motorola Edge 40 Neo Gets Spotted on Geekbench: Might be the most affordable device in the Edge 40 Series – Smartprix

Tech Giant Motorola launched the Motorola Edge 40 smartphone in India in May 2023. The smartphone had top-notch specs and came out in various colors, Magenta shade being launched a month later. Seems like Motorola hasn’t stopped yet as the brand is reportedly working on adding one more device to the Edge 40 Series.

The Moto Edge 40 Neo has been spotted on Geekbench listing which might be a cheaper model in the Edge 40 Series.

The Geekbench listing doesn’t specify the exact chipset but mentions it to be an ARM v8 octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.50GHz and Mali-G610 MC3 GPU. The chipset might be MediaTek Dimensity 1050. The smartphone is listed with 7.27GB RAM which would mean 8GB on paper.

It will run Android 13 and has a single-core score of 3559 and a multi-core score of 8508.

Moto Edge 40 Neo: Expected launch date, pricing

The Edge 40 Neo was earlier seen on UAE’s telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority website hinting at its imminent launch. Some reports claim it might launch on 15th September and the expected pricing is around Rs. 36,500. The device was also seen on Amazon.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the Moto Edge 40 Neo might be the cheapest in the Edge 40 Series.

The Moto Edge 40 Neo is expected to sport a 6.55-inch 8-bit P-OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It might have a 50MP primary camera at the back with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide angle lens. The smartphone is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 68W charging and has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
