Nokia C20 Plus with 5000mAh battery to launch on June 11 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company which holds the license to manufacture Nokia branded smartphones is all set to add a new smartphone to its portfolio. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Nokia C20 Plus smartphone.
The handset maker has confirmed that it will launch the Nokia C20 Plus smartphone in China on June 11. The company will launch the smartphone at a virtual event.
The company also shared a teaser image of the upcoming Nokia smartphone. As per the image, the smartphone will sport a textured back panel and triple rear camera placed inside a circular module.
Recently, the yet-to-launch Nokia C20 Plus also surfaced on benchmarking website Geekbench.
As per the Geekbench listing, the smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Unisoc processor clocked at 1.6GHz.
The listing also suggests that Nokia C20 Plus might also come in two RAM options — 2GB and 3GB. The smartphone is also expected to run Android 11 operating system.
The handset is also said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Recently, HMD Global shared a revised Android 11 roadmap for its Nokia smartphones.
As per the new timeline, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 will get the Android 11 update somewhere between Q1 and Q2, whereas the Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 9 Pureview will get the update in Q2 only.
The company hasn’t given any explanation on why the timeline has been revised, but it doesn’t look good for the handsets from the brand as its stock Android OS and regular updates are the key features of the smartphone lineup.
