OnePlus Ace Pro China launch postponed, OnePlus 10T India launch still on

While the company said the China launch event of the OnePlus Ace Pro would be rescheduled, we believe the global launch of the same – as the OnePlus 10T 5G – is unaffected, at least till the brand announces the cancellation.

Why are China launch events getting cancelled?

While both brands – OnePlus and Motorola – didn’t disclose the reason for their last-moment cancellation of the launch event, its likely happened because Nancy Patricia Pelosi, speaker of the United States House of Representatives and the second in line to US Presidency, arrived in Taiwan on the evening of August 2nd, sparking political tensions with China. Pelosi is known for vocally criticising China’s policies, and China is not happy about the US politician visiting Taiwan. Chinese authorities are reportedly planning military drills in response to the diplomatic event.

Will OnePlus 10T launch in India?

The OnePlus Ace Pro is scheduled to launch in the international market (Including India) with a different name, the OnePlus 10T 5G.
