Redmi K50 series and Xiaomi 12 series alleged model numbers leaked ahead of launch | 91mobiles.com

Xiaomi 12 series and Redmi K50 series model numbers leaked

Starting with the Xiaomi 12 series, the leak suggests that the lineup will feature (at least) 3 variants – the vanilla Xiaomi 12 (model number L2), Xiaomi 12 Pro (model number L1a), and Xiaomi 12 Ultra (model number L1). The Redmi K50 series, on the other hand, is reportedly going to feature 4 devices, the names of which, are not mentioned in this leak. Their model numbers, however, sure are, and we are to see Redmi L10 (presumably Redmi K50), L10a (presumably Redmi K50 Pro), L11 (presumably Redmi K50 Pro+), and L11r (likely a Lite variant of sorts).

Other than these, there are as many as four Xiaomi smartphones that are lined up for launch. Below are their model numbers and the corresponding processors:

  • L9 – (Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+)
  • L9b – (Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+)
  • L3 – (Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, 6.3-inch)
  • L3a – (Qualcomm Snapdragon 870)

It is worth mentioning that though the leak looks pretty legit, there’s no way that we can confirm its authenticity for now, so readers might as well take things with a slight grain of salt till the time things become officially clear. Speaking of things becoming official, if at all these devices are to launch next month, we can expect teasers to start popping up anytime now. Plus, the top-of-the-line variants of both Xiaomi 12 series and Redmi k50 series are supposedly going to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 898* processor, the launch of which, is going to happen in the first week of December. Whenever we receive any more information surrounding these devices, we will keep you posted on the same.

(*Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 might undergo a change in the nomenclature used by Qualcomm. We have heard rumours suggesting that it could be named Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx Gen-1 for that matter. Therefore, 898 is a mere placeholder for now and should be treated as such)
