Redmi Note 12 5G’s 8GB version goes on sale in India: Price, offers and more – Times of India

Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Redmi launched the 8GB RAM variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G last month. The smartphone is now up for sale in India. Customers can purchase the 8GB RAM variant of Redmi Note 12 5G from Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Store app and authorised retail stores in the country.

The 8GB RAM variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G is priced at Rs 21,999. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Frosted Green, Matte Black and Mystique Blue colour options.As part of the launch offers, the company is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 on ICICI Bank cards and exchange bonus of Rs 1,500. On the other hand, the 4GB version of the smartphone is priced at Rs 17,999.
Redmi Note 12 5G specifications
Like the Pro models in the lineup, the standard variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G series features a punch-hole display but is constructed with plastic. The smartphone is rated IP53 for water and dust resistance. Additionally, the Note 12 5G includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi Note 12 5G features a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display has a peak brightness of 1200 nits, a contrast ratio of 4500000:1, 4096-level dimming, and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, the Note 12 5G supports 5G connectivity and can come with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also has the option for expandable storage through a microSD card.
The Redmi Note 12 5G runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and has a 5000mAh battery. It comes with a 33W charger.
For photography, the Redmi Note 12 5G has a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for taking selfies.
