Skyesports Masters Announces Zebronics As Peripherals Partner

Skyesports has just entered into a partnership with Zebronics for its upcoming franchise-based esports league in India. The upcoming Skyesports Masters now has Zebronics as its peripherals partner, meaning that the esports league will feature gaming monitors, keyboards, headphones and other accessories from Zebronics throughout the event.

Zebronics and Skyesports

Zebronics has said that it will be looking forward to showcasing its gaming hardware during the tournament to a more “diverse audience while promoting the growth of India’s gaming and esports industry.”

The Skyesports Masters is set to take place in Mumbai and will feature eight CS:GO teams in total. They will all be competing for the top spot in a tournament with a ₹2,00,00,000 prize pool. Skyesports has already announced Microsoft and AMD in the past as partners for its upcoming franchise-based esports league.

Zebronics director Yash Doshi said, “The partnership reflects our shared passion for promoting esports and supporting the growth of gaming in the country while aligning perfectly with our goal of being always ahead and bringing cutting-edge and feature rich gaming peripherals for Indian gamers as an Indian brand since 1997. Excited to showcase our range to the fans at the Skyesports Masters.”

Skyesports also announced that it is planning on planning organising qualifiers in gaming cafés in 20+ cities across India. It will look to “identify the best talent in Counter-Strike” and facilitate growth of CS:GO in India (from an esports perspective) at the grassroots level.

Skyesports founder and CEO also commented on the partnership announcement. He said, “We are thrilled to welcome a homegrown brand into the Skyesports Masters. As we look to grow the league sustainably over the years to come, indigenous brands like Zebronics coming on board are a testament to the longevity of the Skyesports Masters.”

He added, “With the backing of Zebronics, along with our existing partnerships with AMD and Windows 11, we are confident that the Skyesports Masters will live up to its expectations of setting a new benchmark for Indian esports.”

Skyesports provides update after CEO’s controversial political comments

S8UL Esports recently had a spat with Skyesports after a controversial tweet from Skyesports’ founder Shiva Nandy. The tweet was related to the election results in Karnataka, where Nandy tweeted an image from Game of Thrones which said that the “South will remain an independent kingdom.”

Lokesh Jain, co-founder of S8UL Esports, criticised Nandy for his tweets and suggested that the organisations should part ways from current and future associations.

IGN India has now received a statement from Skyesports, highlighting that the situation between the two organisations has been resolved.

“Politics beliefs are personal and do not reflect the views of the organization. We have resolved our situation with S8ul internally. We look forward to working together to grow and support the esports scene of the country in the years to come,” Skyesports told IGN India.
