Spider-Man: No Way Home was an absolute blockbuster, which saw the return of childhood superheroes in Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s version of the webslinger. Plus, the film also featured returning iconic supervillains as well.
The fans were obviously overjoyed after seeing all three Spider-Men in the same universe, and they couldn’t have asked more from the movie. This was a spectacular move from Marvel as it made Spider-Man: No Way Home the seventh highest grossing movie of all time and third highest in the MCU. It fell short only against both the Avengers films in Infinity War and Endgame.
Recently, we got to see Sam Raimi’s reaction on Tobey Maguire returning as Spider-Man in the movie. This information comes from a video posted by Twitter user, RaimiGroovy. Through the video we learned that Sam Raimi’s heart was racing when he saw the return of Tobey Maguire. He said, “There’s my old hero, my old friend. It was so beautiful.”

In other Spider-Man news, Tobey Maguire had some exciting views about his character in an interview for Spider-Man: No Way Home: The Official Movie Special (via Screen Rant). In the interview he stated that he loves the films and all the different series, and if he was asked to hang out, read a scene or do a “Spider-Man thing” then his response would be, “Yes! Because why wouldn’t I want to do that?”
