The Marvels: New Marvel Legends Movie Figures Revealed by Hasbro

Now that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has landed in theaters, all eyes are turning to The Marvels as the next MCU movie hitting the big screen. And as is tradition, that theatrical release will be preceded by plenty of new action figures and other collectibles.

IGN can exclusively reveal Hasbro’s next wave of Marvel Legends figures, which features a mix of figures modeled directly on the film and figures inspired by classic Avengers comic book storylines. Get a closer look at all seven figures, plus the Totally Awesome Hulk Build-a-Figure, in the slideshow gallery below:

Fittingly, the three movie-based figures in this series focus on the new superhero trinity that forms the crux of The Marvels – Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Photon. All three figures feature detailed, lifelike facial sculpts using Hasbro’s “Photo Real” technology.

These figures also give us a closer glimpse at the new costumes featured in the film. Larson’s Captain Marvel suit is a return to the blue and red motif of the first film, albeit with a more stripped-down and functional look. Ms. Marvel, meanwhile, looks to be getting a bit of a cosmic upgrade with a more ornate and superhero-y costume. Her figure even comes with a tentacle-spewing Flerken for good measure.

As for the comic-based figures, this series is leaning mainly on Marvel’s more contemporary Avengers comics, apart from the classic version of Inhuman martial artist Karnak. This series includes a new version of Commander Steve Rogers, a ’90s-worthy Heroes Return Iron Man, Kree hero Marvel Boy and the aforementioned Totally Awesome Hulk Build-a-Figure.

Each of these figures is designed in the usual 6-inch scale for Marvel Legends. They’re priced at $24.99 each, and the full wave should begin hitting stores in Summer 2023, ahead of The Marvels’ November 10, 2023 release date. Preorders for the figures will open on Hasbro Pulse and other websites on June 7 at 10am PT.
