‘We all are backing you’: Kohli, Tendulkar wish Indian hockey team ahead of the FIH World Cup | Hockey News – Times of India
The men’s hockey World Cup will be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela from 13-29 January, and hosts India are placed in Pool D along with England, Wales and Spain.
India are seeking a podium finish after 48 years at the showpiece event, and the expectations are high from the hosts after their stupendous performance at the Tokyo Olympics. India ended a 41-year-long wait for an Olympic medal in Tokyo, winning a historic bronze there.
Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to wish the Indian team.
