Jio True 5G now available across Delhi-NCR

The Jio 5G welcome offer is applicable only to those who receive the invitation through the MyJio app and this will be based on the region where you reside and the network availability. Jio promises to complete the pan-India rollout by December 2023.

Jio 5G now available across the Delhi-NCR region

The Jio 5G network in Delhi-NCR will be present across all important localities and areas including, most residential areas, hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, government buildings, high streets, malls and markets, high footfall areas, tech parks, roads, highways and metros.

Jio says that lakhs of users are already enjoying the Welcome Offer in Delhi-NCR, where they can experience unlimited data at up to 1GBps speeds at no additional cost. The telecom network says that this is possible because of stand-alone 5G architecture with Zero dependency on the 4G network; the network has a mix of 5G spectrums across 700MHz, 3500MHz, and 26GHz bands.

Jio says that more users in Delhi-NCR will continue to receive the invitation for the Jio 5G Welcome Offer, which will enable them to experience unlimited data at up to 1Gbps+ speeds at no additional cost. To remind you, Jio is yet to officially announce 5G data plans in the country so until that happens, the 5G network is free to use for those who are invited.

Covering the majority of the National Capital and NCR region is a matter of pride for us. Jio is expanding its True-5G reach at a rapid pace and has already rolled out a large portion of the planned True-5G network in this area. It is the only operator to be present across the Delhi-NCR region with True-5G services. The reason Jio engineers are working round the clock to deliver True- 5G to every Indian is because of the transformational power of this technology and the exponential benefits it can deliver to every citizen.– Jio Spokesperson
